Guillaume is business lawyer who is passionate about entrepreneurship. He is attentive to his clients’ needs and always makes sure to offer the best advice and tools. His objective: help entrepreneurs diminish risk and structure their activities effectively, on both the legal and business fronts. Involved in his community, he’s never afraid to be bold and use strategies to find effective solutions to current legal issues.

Holding a Bachelor of Law Degree from Université Laval (LL.B.), and a Masters in Business Law from Université de Montréal (LL.M.), he currently works at the law firm Therrien Couture.

Guillaume’s practice leads him to deal with different aspects of business law, namely commercial and corporate law, the acquisition and the sale of corporate assets and shares, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, drafting , the analysis and the negotiation of commercial contracts, real estate law, and trademarks. Over the past years, Guillaume gained significant experience in the law of franchising.

In parallel with his practice, Guillaume teaches business law, contract law, real estate law and legal writing at the university and the École du Barreau, in addition to giving lectures. Passionate about writing and concerned with maintaining his knowledge, Guillaume frequently writes articles in business law.

He is currently President of a non-profit organization working to defend the rights of citizens in the consumer field. He is also President of the Young Philanthropists Committee of the National School of Humor, mentor with the Academos program encouraging students not to drop out of schools, member of the Liaison Committee with members of the Young Bar Association of Montreal and business coach of some of the winners of the Montréal Foundation Inc.
