Selena Lu is a partner in the Business Law group. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and the drafting of standard contracts, including leases, franchise agreements, distribution agreements and financing agreements.
Over the years, Selena Lu has developed an interest and acquired significant experience in supporting customers in their technological change. Indeed, she quickly saw the growth of technology-related issues in her mandates; the reason why she honed her expertise in the field of technology law. On a day-to-day basis, she advises clients on the legal impacts of the introduction of new technologies, whether it be during mergers and acquisitions or accelerating the digital shift.
Selena has held several leadership roles since the beginning of her career and has actively contributed to the Chinese community in Montréal. In 2014, she was elected President of the Young Chinese Professionals Association (YCPA) and recognized as an “Eminent Young Overseas Chinese” by the Chinese Consulate in Montréal. In 2017, Selena chaired the organizing committee of the Montreal Chinese Hospital Foundation Ball. In 2018, she was named 81st President of the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Montreal (JCCM). In 2019, she was invited to Montréal City Hall to sign the Golden Book in recognition of her volunteer contribution to the Chinese community in Montréal.
