My Wish For Women

On this International Women’s Day, my wish for all women can be summarized in one word: unity.
I wish that one day women will carry each other, without judgment of race, shape, and social status. Empower one another through their skills, expertise, and strengths. This support system seems vital to me. A network of solidarity that is accepting, compassionate, and comprehensive when faced with difficulties, failures and differences that we all experience from time to time.
Let’s be united as women, and teach our daughters and granddaughters to lend a hand the ones alone in the schoolyard. Show them that together, they carry the heritage of previous generations. That if they act in solidarity today, it will follow them for the rest of their lives. I especially want us to commit to sharing our experiences and stories, so they can use our wisdom as a tool.
Yes, it is important to have a day dedicated to celebrating women and their rights, but above all, we must behave in a way that we can be proud of, knowing that we do our best every day, and make sure to help or comfort other women regularly.
